Litir Ghrá ón Dara Cogadh Domhanda
On Sunday, October 9, 2022 BBC Northern Ireland broadcast an Irish language documentary, "Litir Ghrá ón Dara Cogadh Domhanda” ("A Love Letter from the Second World War”) about Eileen and Frank. A shorter version of the programme was shown on TG4 on Wednesday, October 12.
The programme can still be viewed within the UK here using BBC iPlayer. It was produced by Strident Media for BBC Gaeilge, with support from Northern Ireland Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund.

In 2017 Eileen and Frank’s elder son, Paul, visited Singapore and Japan to retrace his father’s footsteps. Paul has written about his journey as well as other aspects of his personal quest to explore ideas of reconciliation and prayer in the book, “From the Gaeltacht to Galicia: A Son’s Tale”, published by Honeybee Books in 2021.
